I grew up playing soccer in Seattle, Washington. At 11, I moved to Austin where I played with Lonestar, eventually moving up to the Premier Team ranked #1 in Texas and nationally. While I was at Leander High School, our team made it to their first playoff appearance in over 16 years. I then played college soccer in Kerrville,
I grew up playing soccer and have been involved with playing and coaching as long as I can remember. Since moving to Austin, I’ve coached at several clubs, and taught kids of all ages. After more than 20 years of training, I have found that teaching kids the fundamentals and helping them develop their skills is the key to them becoming the best player they can be.
I grew up like many kids in Mexico, playing pickup games on the local soccer pitch. My family was always of low income which prevented me from playing in competitive organizations. It wasn’t until I came to this country that I was able to compete at a club level with Millennium Soccer kids and in Pflugerville High.
